Hire Terms & Conditions – Bouncy Castle Hire Carrigaline
These terms and conditions apply to all inflatable and bouncy castle hire bookings in Carrigaline and surrounding areas. They are designed to ensure safe use of our equipment and a smooth, stress-free experience for everyone involved.
General Safety Rules
- Bouncy castles are for children only (maximum age 14 unless otherwise agreed).
- A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at ALL times.
- No shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, food, drinks or sharp objects are allowed on the inflatable.
- No climbing, sitting or hanging on the walls or netting.
- No rough play, flips or wrestling.
- Inflatables must not be used during inflation or deflation.
- A minimum 2 metre safety clearance must be kept around the unit.
- If the inflatable becomes wet and slippery, use must stop immediately.
Failure to follow these rules may result in injury or damage. The hirer accepts full responsibility for supervising children and ensuring safe use.
Delivery & Collection Times ⌛
One-Day Bookings
We typically deliver either the day before or before 12pm on the morning of your booking. Collection is usually after 6pm or the following day.
Two-Day Bookings
If you book for Saturday and Sunday, delivery is usually Friday or before 12pm Saturday. Collection takes place Sunday after 6pm or Monday between 9am–7pm.
Two-day hire is popular as it provides better value and protects you in case of rain. ☔
Delivery times are estimates and may change depending on routing and staff availability. Final times are confirmed the day before your booking.
Weather Policy ⛈️
Our inflatables are shower-resistant but not fully waterproof. Heavy rain can enter through seams or zips.
- You may cancel anytime before delivery.
- Once delivered, full payment is due (cash on delivery).
- No refunds or discounts are offered due to weather.
- We cannot swap castles during rain as all units are affected equally.
💡 Tip: Many customers book for two days to improve their chances of dry weather.
Deposits & Booking Policy
A deposit is required to secure your booking. Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once:
- All required information is provided
- The hire agreement is signed
- The deposit is received
Why We Don’t Hold Castles Without Deposit ❌
- Our business is highly seasonal and weather dependent.
- We have previously held castles that were later cancelled due to unsuitable gardens.
- Some customers reserve dates and fail to confirm, leaving empty slots.
For fairness to all customers, we cannot reserve equipment without commitment.
Surface & Setup Requirements
Grass (Recommended)
All inflatables can be safely secured on grass using anchor stakes.
Concrete, Patio, Artificial Grass
Only standard bouncy castles and castles with slides may be installed on these surfaces. We use sandbags instead of pegs and provide extra safety mats. An additional €20 charge applies due to additional labour and equipment.
Obstacle courses and super slides MUST be placed on grass only. These large inflatables require ground staking for safe anchoring.
Garden Access & Suitability 📷
Bouncy castles weigh over 150kg and require safe, level access. We require a photo or short video of your garden and access route during booking.
This allows us to:
- Confirm suitability of your garden
- Plan safe delivery access
- Avoid issues with tight gates, steps, steep hills or uneven ground
- Ensure staff safety during setup
Failure to disclose access issues may result in inability to install the inflatable.
Liability
All users of the inflatable do so at their own risk. The hirer accepts full responsibility for injury, damage or loss resulting from misuse, lack of supervision, or failure to follow safety instructions.
We cannot accept liability for damage caused after safe installation has been completed.
